Position: Chartered Structural Engineer

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer to join their expanding design consultancy in Huddersfield. You will play a pivotal role in providing continuous technical design support to various clients across the UK, with ample opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
As a Chartered Structural Engineer, you will primarily focus on residential projects, showcasing your expertise in completing designs within this sector. Your role will involve delivering accurate reports and designs, contributing significantly to the company's growth. Additionally, you'll provide mentorship to junior engineers and CAD technicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of experience in UK-based design consultancies
Proficiency in Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber materials
Strong knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes, and design guidance
Excellent analytical, communication, and technical design skills
Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE
Valid driving license and access to own vehicle
Software Proficiency:
AutoCAD
TEDDS
Microsoft Office suite
