A qualified roofer with a minimum of 2 years experience and proven track record.
While the vacancy is for a roofer the successful candidate must have a "get stuck in and get the job done" attitude as the role at times can feel more like that of a multi skilled technician, therefore a basic understanding of other trades would be a benefit but more importantly the mindset to complete the job as a team and move to the next.The work is all refurbs on residential property.

The company and the role
Our client is a property development and management company which owns a large number of residential properties across the North of England.
They are looking to expand their NE branch based in Middlesbrough due to continued growth within the business.
The role consists of first fix and refurbishment of :
properties bought at Auction that need to be brought up to the required standard to go onto the rental market.
ongoing maintenance and damage repair of properties with sitting tenants
repair work on properties that require attention in between tenants
You will be expected to:
Carry out roofing repairs and maintenance works
Liaise with tenants and carry out inspections.
Day to day you will be required to complete smaller repairs to larger
installments on domestic roofs Able to repair a range of profiled roofing and cladding systems.
Able to repair a range of composite panel roof & wall cladding
systems.
inspect composite domestic and residential type roofs for
leaks.
complete all aspects of roofing - Remove old roofs, installs roof
insulation, and performs repairs as indicated to leaking roofs. Slate, Tile,
Gutter & facia works
Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line
with task schedules
Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by
administration team.
Any other reasonable duty
Maintenance & InspectionsSupervise sub-contractorsEnsure all trades have a high standard of workResponsible for scheduling,and coordinating work on site.
Ensuring work is safely on time and within budget
Managing equipment and materials required
Day to day reactive maintenance repairs within occupied domestic
houses in the social housing sector
