About the Role:
My client is currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Construction division, delivering competitive and accurate tendering for projects up to £15m. Based at their Head Office in Lincoln, this role involves working on various new build and refurbishment projects within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare traditional and Design & Build tenders
Appraise tender documents and prepare subcontractor and material enquiries
Produce detailed and measured bills of quantities when required
Conduct risk and value management
Prepare budgets, estimates, and cost plans
Participate in internal tender adjudications and external client presentations
What We’re Looking For:
A solid building background with extensive knowledge of new build and refurbishment projects across various sectors
Good understanding of CDM 2015 Health & Safety requirements, modern construction methods, and contractual awareness
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel
Experience with specialist estimating software is preferred
A Higher Education qualification (HNC, Diploma, Degree) in a construction-related field is beneficial but not essential
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
